How much does aircon installation cost in Singapore?
Installation pricing depends mostly on how many indoor units you need, the brand you choose, and your property. As a guide: a single split system starts from $1,200, a System 2 from $2,200, a System 3 from $2,800 and a System 4 from $3,500. Premium brands such as Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric typically add $300 to $500. There is no GST — the quote is final.
What moves the price within those bands: the length of copper piping between the indoor and outdoor units, whether old units need removing and disposing, any electrical work if a new isolator or point is required, and trunking if you want a concealed finish. We confirm all of this at the free site survey, so the quoted price is the price you pay.
Choosing the right aircon: size (BTU) and brand
An aircon that is too small never cools properly and runs non-stop; one that is too large short-cycles and wastes electricity. Matching BTU to room size matters more than most people realise — the rough guide below is a starting point we confirm during the survey.
On brand: Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric are the premium choice for reliability and efficiency; Panasonic and LG offer strong mid-tier value; Midea is budget-friendly with a shorter typical lifespan. We recommend based on your rooms, usage and budget, with no brand commission — so the advice is yours, not the supplier's.

HDB, condo and landed — what is different
HDB flats: the outdoor unit must sit on the designated aircon ledge with proper brackets, installed by a BCA-licensed contractor following HDB guidelines (roof or corridor installation is not allowed in most blocks). We handle the compliance for you.
Condominiums: most MCSTs require approval and specify where condenser units may sit and how piping is routed. We work within your management's rules and can advise before you commit.
Landed homes: the most flexible, but also where piping runs and condenser placement vary the most — which is exactly why the site survey matters for an accurate price.

- The system is vacuumed, leak-tested and gas-charged correctly — the step cheap installers most often rush.
